Tami and Brandi are self-taught podcasters who want to share their favorite scary stories. Along the way, we hope you can relate to our bumps, stumbles, and dark humor. Enjoy the ride!

These two cousins grew up in a small town in Southern Illinois, where everyone knew everyone else and there were dedicated days for students to drive their tractors to school. Since this was a town rooted in farming, there were corn fields as far as the eye could see. When Brandi and Tami were kids, one of their favorite past times was to play a game with their cousins they called, “Children of the Corn.” No one died, but we cannot guarantee no one was injured or partially maimed. Another family favorite was the haunted hay rides the parents made for the kids on the family farm every Halloween.

A self-proclaimed spinster, Tami lives alone with her dog, Jane. Her low threshold for bullshit has meant she is something of a connoisseur of jobs. A job expert, if you will. You name it, she’s done it. Jackie of all trades, mistress of none. Tami has worked as a pizza maker, bank teller, grocery clerk, hotel manager, and an eyeglass maker. Interestingly enough, she once worked as a lube technician. That’s right, guys. Your girl changed the oil in cars. Get your mind out of the gutter, people. For 7 minutes, Tami worked as a cocktail server in a strip club. Remember the low threshold thing? An elderly man asking her to sit on his lap crossed that threshold.
Tami’s favorite movie genre is horror. She has been obsessed with scary movies since age 5, where she first snuck down the long creepy hallway in her house and sat in the dark watching Amityville Horror “with her parents.” In her free time, Tami reads up on aliens and UFOs and loves taking long walks alone in the woods. Don’t worry, guys, she promises not to shoot Bigfoot when she finally sees him.

Brandi’s macabre interests manifested in high school, when she and her friends used Oujia boards in cemeteries, explored abandoned houses and barns, and spent weekends cruising the “Gates of Hell.” Due to her life choices after high school, Brandi was educationally institutionalized for nearly a decade. This resulted in a career which affords her the free time to focus on her hobbies, like sharing scary stories with friends and strangers. Described by friends as oddly ambitious and sometimes a hot mess express, Brandi’s super-power is finishing things in the nick of time. Working well under pressure isn’t always a bad thing, right?
Though a staunch supporter of science, Brandi has always been intrigued by the occult. While maintaining a certain level of skepticism, who doesn’t love to be scared shitless by the possibility of Mothman? Crime shows and unsolved mysteries have also long been a particular interest of hers, as well as a fascination with UFOs and space travel. When not working or trolling, Brandi can be found spending time with her love, Dan, and their three dogs, Cara, Meeka, and Liliana Moonbeam. Brandi also enjoys astrophotography and reading, especially science fiction and books about business, philosophy, and psychology.
